The present paper investigated the effectiveness of concept mapping as a learning strategy on EFL students’ self-regulation (metacognitive self-regulation, time and study environment, effort regulation, peer learning, and help seeking). Sixty university students participated in the study. They were randomly assigned to control and experimental groups, each including thirty students. They were at the intermediate level of English proficiency and studying English either Translation or Literature. Their language proficiency was determined by the Michigan Test of English Language Proficiency (MTELP) (Corrigan, 1979). The instrument to collect data on the students’ selfregulation was the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) (Printrich et al., 1991). The findings revealed that students gained higher self-regulation in writing tasks as the result of the explicit instruction of the concept mapping strategy. The findings have implications for pedagogy as well as for research.

Transport aerodynamic optimisation has become an increasingly important field of study in response to emerging factors, such as new human needs and market demands. This paper provides a concept in-house built sports-car aerodynamic and shape optimisation. Wind tunnel tests and numerical simulations have been set-up and conducted to understand the concept vehicle aerodynamic structure and needs for Performance improvement. A computer-aided design model has been developed and implemented into the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software of StarCCM+ for detailed analysis. A 1/4th full-scale fibreglass model has been manufactured for validation. The combined experimental and CFD analyses show that the original aesthetic design exhibits high rear-end lift-force. Modifications have been assessed to improve the drag and lift forces for the front, middle and rear regions. Several geometrical changes are introduced, including new rear-wing design. Also, the front end, roof profile and various ducting modifications have been considered. The introduced design changes lead to optimised downforce of-560. 18 N with negligible increase to the accumulated drag effects with CD ≤ 0. 3.

This study deals with the numerical investigation of the effects of the of multi row disks on the Performance parameters of an axisymmetric supersonic air inlet of the mixed compression type at free stream Mach number of 2. Inlet Performance parameters include drag coefficient, distortion coefficient, total pressure recovery and mass flow ratio. The multi row disk concept is one of the new methods to control the flow and the boundary layer. In this study, after validating the results of numerical simulation with the help of experimental results, the desired inlet has been investigated in terms of Performance parameters in different back pressure ratios. Then, the effects of number of disks, length and depth of the cavities were also investigated. The results showed that using the multi row disks has a favorable effect on the drag coefficient and mass flow ratio. It was also observed that the use of multi row disks postpones the subcritical operating condition, which is operationally very beneficial for the aerial vehicle, because it makes the flight envelope of the vehicle wider.

Body is one of the essential components of works in Performance art. Since the beginning of Performance art history, artists have had a critical approach to social matters and even the artists' reaction to using art works as commercial products has been one of the causes that made them create a kind of live art. The main question of this research is: What is artists' approach to body in Performance art for expressing social matters? Body in Deleuze's ideas is more than just a concept of physical body and contains different bodies such as urban body and social body. This paper explains the concept of Performance art and investigates the role of body in making Performance art's works. Then, by using Gilles Deleuze's ideas about body without organs, we analyze some of the most important works of Performance art in order to clear artists' approach to body and it's relationship with social matters. Performance art is a branch of art that mixes other branches and uses body in relation with time and space in order to makes an art work. Most of the works in this branch of art engages audiences actively. Deleuze uses the concept of body without organ in relation of a special kind of thinking about life and world. He recognizes world as a plate of immanence in which life is becoming and not being. He denies all kinds of transcendentality. In his ideas, art should try to make us recognize life as an open whole through feelings. From this point of view, body without organs refers to all kinds of refusing transcendentality in physical or social bodies. Body without organs is not a body in lack of organs, but it is a body against organization. Deleuze warns that just making a body without organs is not enough because it could be an empty or a cancerous body without organs. An empty body without organs is a kind of body that lacks organization, but it is not successful and transverse of intensities being interrupted in it. So, it could not be a plate of immanence that forces flow in it. A cancerous body without organs not only is not a successful body without organs, but is a dangerous body that is dependent on organization and confirms transcendentality. This qualitative research uses descriptive-analytical method and theoretical sampling. The method of data acquisition is desk study. By analyzing Performance artists' approach to body, we found: 1. The goal of Performance art is to invite audiences for rethinking about physical and social body and as a result of that rethinking themselves and social matters in order to make a body without organs. 2. Sometimes, artists put their body in maximum or minimum threshold, and sometimes they try to make a body without organs of urban or social body in order to reach their goal. 3. What makes a Performance art's work successful is to make a full body without organs and not an empty or a cancerous body without organs.

Introduction: The risk of being affected by infectious diseases in dentistry directly depends upon the degree of contact with body liquids, such as blood and saliva, as well as the working tools. Different micro-organisms including the viruses causing AIDS and Hepatitis B as well as oral thrush are possible to be transferred in dentistry. According to the Dental intervention (FDI), it is suggested that all dental patients, in spite of the healthy look, are considered to be infective. Therefore, the health principles and protective and safety methods must be observed in all the sequences to prevent cross-infection. Thus, the present study seeks to investigate the degree to which the dentists in Isfahan respect and approach to such standards.Materials and Methods: This is a cross-sectional descriptive study. In order to answer the questions of the study (as found in tables 1&2), the data related to the participants’ attitudes and Performance were collected by having them fill out a questionnaire and a checklist. A total of 140 dentists in Isfahan were selected through a random sampling in 1385 (HS). The data collected was then evaluated with SPSS.Results: The mean score obtained from the attitude-related questions was 5.36. Also, the mean score of Performance-related questions was found to be 8.03. No significant relation was found between the dentists` attitudes and the years of service (P=0.092, r=0.17). No significant relation was found between the dentists` Performance and the years of service (P=0.12, r=0.15). No significant relation was found between the dentists` attitudes and their Performance (P=0.1, r=0.16).
